Amazon is killing our libraries — Fight for the Future

Amazon, one of the biggest booksellers and publishers, is denying libraries access to millions of ebooks and audiobooks to secure their monopoly of the book industry.

Amazon's goal is to create a system in which if anyone wishes to access a book, they will have to do it through Amazon.

This is one of the many abuses of capitalism Amazon is spearheading. And the results are always the same: wealth is being redirected from people's pockets towards Amazon, losing our rights along the way.

Libraries are key institutions that preserve human knowledge and make it accessible. They need our help: Amazon is going after them, denying them access to the ebooks and audiobooks they own the rights to, and making publishers believe libraries are the enemy.
